Welcome to Pittock Conservation Area

Pittock Conservation Area wants to welcome all our new and returning campers to our wonderful park. We offer something for everyone – great children’s programs at the Recreation Centre, trails, playgrounds, splash pad, disc golf, pool and excellent fishing and boating opportunities on the reservoir.

If you require firewood, ice, worms or wish to rent a canoe outside of store hours, please see Gate House Staff and we will be happy to assist you.

Ice - $3.00/bag

Firewood - $7.50/bag

Worms - $3.00/can

Canoe rentals - $30.00/day
 

Canoe Rentals

Canoe rentals are $30.00 for the day. Rental fee includes life jackets, paddles and a marina safety kit. Canoes are rented between the hours of 9:00am and 5:00pm daily. All canoes and equipment must be returned before 7:00pm or late charges will apply. We will require a valid driver’s licence for a deposit at the time of rental.

Please note: If you are returning equipment outside of store hours, please do so at the front gate or by calling 519-539-5088 (press ‘0’) and staff will be happy to assist you.

Swipe Cards

In 2010, Pittock Conservation Area introduced a controlled access swipe card system at our front gate to ensure a greater level of security and best possible customer service for our campers. Therefore, if your stay at the park includes any evenings from Sunday through Friday, you will be required to pay a $10.00 swipe card deposit to gain access to the park during the non-staffed gatehouse hours (between 12am – 6am through the week). Your deposit will be refunded to you once the card has been returned at the end of your stay.

Pool Hours

The pool is located in section 4 of the campground and is available for campers only. Please note the pool will be open June 30th to September 5th. See pool schedule below.

Recreation Programs

Overnight and Seasonal Campers are welcome to take part in various events at the Recreation Centre located between sections 3 & 4 of the campground. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays our Recreation Leader runs programs for all ages. Reservoir, Boat Launch and Beach Updates
